Say it ain't so! Justin Bieber was shutout at the 2012 MTV VMAs.
This marks the first time the pop star has failed to take home a Moonman after being nominated. And needless to say, his millions of fans are not too happy.
"Justin Bieber didn't win one award damn!!!!!! #BS" tweeted @HadiKhanvict.
Others smelled a conspiracy. "@justinbieber I'm so sorry that you didn't win. Remember, if the voting system wasn't rigged AND it was based on voting, YOU WOULD HAVE WON," tweeted @Biebzy.
In 2010, Bieber took home the Best New Artist award for "Baby." A year later, he scored his second Moonman — in the Best Male category — for "U Smile." This year, he was nominated for three awards, but couldn't win one.
