JUSTIN BIEBER OPENS UP: PATERNITY

In the months leading to his 18th birthday, Justin Bieber had a pretty clean record with fame. He didn’t throw Lindsay Lohan’s or attempt to overtake Amanda Bynes’ driving record (at the time), but little did we know a big bad case was rolling down his sleave.

You may remember Justin Bieber’s worst nightmare – Maria Yeater, a fan who filed a paternity lawsuit against him, claiming he was the father of her 3-month-old baby… but it was soon to be dropped after she realised the world was against her case – that, and Justin’s lawyers threatening to sue. There’s no way she would have been able to afford that…but could she walk away as a millionaire in debt?!

Justin’s book, Just Getting Started, reveals his life in a more personal approach and covers his road of fame and success. Using Twitter as his backbone to spread the word, he announced he will go into detail on the paternity case towards the end of last year, that had teenage girls in breakdown mode.

"The new book #JustGettingStarted hits stores this week. got a lot to say in there. even about [Mariah] YEATER." Will Maria be shaking in her boots as she tried to take a slice of his fame and glory? No sweat, it only beame the material for his 2012 track, Maria.

In an interview about the book to Ryan Seacrest, he said “"I feel like I just don't want to be another teen heartthrob," and while it airs September 13, he adds, "I just think that that just annoys me. To think that's what people will — will think of me — or, like, I just want to prove people wrong."

He also covers the topic on his teen mother raising him as a child, and the struggles he experienced. "There were so many struggles that she had to go through to be able to raise me, as an 18-year-old girl," he said. "You know, so I couldn't imagine raising a child now. So I give my mom — you know, kudos to you, Mom ... because I was not easy."
