Justin Bieber fever hits Tacoma Dome

Justin Bieber’s Believe tour landed at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Wash. Tuesday. Fans of all ages spent the afternoon congregating in the parking areas, and several Beliebers and their moms drove all the way across the state from Spokane to get in on the action, reports KING 5 television news.

The long-distance fans all skipped school on Tuesday to get to the dome on time for the 7:00 p.m. show. Most of the fans were female; most of the fans were young, but Justin Bieber enthusiasts both old and young were staking spots in the hope of seeing their hero. Local television shows, including KING 5’s “New Day” gave away tickets, with special “meet and greet” privileges to let the lucky winners have a special moment with Justin Bieber.

Meanwhile, for moms without tickets or the auditory fortitude to take in the concert, more special arrangements were being made across the parking area inside the LeMay-America car museum for adult day care—which promised to include grown-up drinks, while parents waited out the show, which opens with the singer donning angel wings and descending from the ceiling.

The Believe tour came from Portland, Ore. Monday, on the way to Vancouver, British Columbia, later in the week. Justin Bieber has lined up huge shows almost every other day between now and April, taking a month off in December. He won’t have much time for dates with Selena Gomez.
